Good Start to March!

I apologize for not being better with the blog updates.  I have a private group that I am being accountable to and I do find it helping.  I also find that what I would update there.  I do here as well.  Its just a much shorter version there.   I would like to thank however, the people that have message me asking if they missed an update because they follow me here. So I am going to try to keep on both.

For anyone who knows me at all.  This is a hard time of year for me.  I hate the cold.  I hate the snow. And we have had a lot of both this year. So I hibernate.  I am not very active at all.  And to be completely honest.  All of any weight loss that is happening right now is strictly because of how I eat.  I have not gotten back on any regular work out regimen at all.  I know.  Bad girl.  But, it also goes to show.  If you stick to it.  You can lose.

I know I have not updated since January 21st, 2013.  So just to give you the facts.  I was down 1, then down 1.2, then up 2.6, then down 4.2.  To fill in the specifics of all that would drive you all crazy.  I don't want to that to you.  There are ups and downs everyday of life.  Weight being one of them.  I have been my own worst enemy lately doing what I tell everyone else NOT to do.  Do not get on the scale daily!  Once a week!  That is it!..  Please remember the scale can change 2 pounds any given day and it can drive you nuts!  I can give the testimonial for that too.  lol.

Let's face it.  Life is not always perfect.  And we have obstacles.  It's getting back on track that is important.  As I have said before.  Cheat days are important without going crazy. I usually reserve them for one day a week.  However this month, I did have 2 in the same the week!!!!  OMG!  Catastrophe!  lol.  NO!  I prepared myself mentally to be ok.  They were celebrations to be celebrated.  And I'm glad I did.  As long as you get back on track is all that matters.

With that being said.  I am down 4.2 this week.  So I am down 22 pounds total and I am 2.8 pounds away from hitting my 10% weight loss.  Which is where you find a big difference in how you feel.

My challenge is there is a celebration this week.  My friend Mags is having her birthday.  So I will celebrate.  And then get back on track.  And that's ok.

What we tend to forget.  This weight didn't go on overnight.  And its not coming off over night either.  Some quit due to slow progress, without realizing, progress is progress.
