Monday's can be great!

You have to love Monday's when you get on the scale and are down.  Always helps make my Monday.  I have not had a lot of time the last few weeks to post so here it is.

I have stayed very diligent the last weeks.  Only allowing for one really big splurge day.  I have always found in the past that allowing yourself one splurge day a week helps you not to binge.  Also, it helps fool your body.  If you eat the same all the time.  Your body gets used to it and starts to plateau.  Most of the programs out there.  Whether you follow Chris Powell or Bob Harper.  The encourage 1 cheat day a week.

My first week back on track I lost 5.6 pounds.  As with any diet (lifestyle change) you start.  You generally lose the most the first 2 weeks.  Water weight is what they call it.  Week 2 was a 1.6 pound loss.  Weeks 1 and 2 were also 6 day weeks instead of 7.  I was weighing a day earlier every week until I got back to my Mondays. Week 3's weigh in was today.  Woo hoo!  Another 3.4 pounds.  The last 3 weeks on track has given me a 10.6 pound loss.  Love it!  Still down a total of 16.8 Pounds.

It's a start.  But it makes me very happy and make me want to continue.  Thanks for the support and followers.  Till next time.
